December Currently

Where did November go?! Seriously the month flew by, I can't believe that it's December already, but I'm certainly not complaining, here's what I'm up to:

Listening: I have been binge-watching The Good Wife, why did I not know about this show earlier?! It keeps me company when I'm working and I've been staying up late to sneak in episodes.  I think that I love it because Alicia's life makes mine feel a lot less stressful!

Loving: I put up my Christmas decorations on Black Friday, it's my little tradition.  I have been loving sitting in the living room and just enjoying the decorations.  They are a great visual reminder that this whole month is one bis celebration that should be enjoyable, not overwhelming.  Plus, I love the feeling of watching the wrapped gifts pile up under the tree, it makes me feel like I've accomplished something.

Thinking: After a long Thanksgiving weekend I feel like I'm moving in overdrive, trying to catch up.  My to do list is a mile long and I can't see to make a dent in it, it's 9pm and I have no idea what just happened to my day. This time of the year is hard because I try a lot harder to make time for personal stuff, but the work stuff and the house stuff still has to get done.  There just aren't enough hours in the day!

Wanting: Thanksgiving break was like a tease.  I've been back to school for one day and I'm already counting down to Christmas.

Needing: My Christmas shopping is done, but I have this problem, I see these great deals and I just can't resist them so I keep buying more stuff.  It. Needs. To. Stop.

Giving: Baking is my native language.  It's how I show people that I care, and I love to go out of my way to make sure that people have something comforting, even if it's just a cookie.

I'm linking up with Farley at Oh Boy 4th Grade, hop on over there and see what everyone else is up to this month.  I love this little glimpse into each others' lives!

  1. December seems to sneak up on us and then blow right by, doesn't it? Here's to hoping your December slows down so you can enjoy the holidays. I know that is what I am hoping will happen around here!

  2. I hear you on the shopping! I keep buying more to keep gifts even among my own three children... it's a vicious cycle, but so much fun!
