Favorite Things: Teacher Edition

If you're a parent then somewhere on that shopping list of yours is probably a teacher or two to buy a holiday gift for.  Sometimes it's easy to pick out a great gift for your child's teacher, other times, it can be really hard.  Last year I started a new tradition, to help you out in the teacher gift department I share my favorite products to use in the classroom - along with a few of my personal favorite items too.  Here's my list for this year! (Amazon links are affiliates)

A great travel mug is part of my daily life! This year's selection from Starbucks is ah-mazing and the gold confetti mug is my absolute favorite.

Great pens make every day tasks a lot more fun.  I use Flair pens to take notes, color code lesson plans, and write reminders to send home.  My collection of these pens can never get too big!

I have a ton of files to keep track of, this 31 file box makes being organized look great.  I have this navy polka dot one, and to be honest I'd love another one.  The best thing about this specific file container is that it fits inside of the classic 31 Utility Tote that just about every teacher every where owns.

I am a sucker for cute office supplies, these Kate Spade File Folders definitely fall into that category.  While they're a bit of a splurge, they do make the most important files easier to find, and they look great in that file box!

I have a running to-do list on my desk, it makes organizing make day a little more manageable,
this notepad has two lists, so teachers can keep track of what they need to do at school and what they need to do at home.

A teacher can always use another tote bag, this set includes three reusable tote bags that roll up into their own little pouches.  These bags are a lifesaver, they don't take up much space, and they're always there when you need them!

Trail Mix has become my go-to snack this year.  It packs protein (and chocolate is always helpful), plus I can grab a little bit whenever I need it, keeping me going all day long.

I've got a great planner this year, the best thing about it is the hard cover.  Usually my planner is ruined halfway through the year, but this one has held up amazingly well.  I also love that it is so bright and fun, it makes planning ahead a little happier.

Target regularly saves the day, it also happens to be my first choice when I'm in need of retail therapy!  Any teacher would love a little extra to splurge on herself, or to use on items in the classroom.  Dress up a gift card with a cute seasonal item from the dollar spot for gift that is sure to be a favorite.

Nothing beats a gel manicure, especially when I spend my days cleaning up all kinds of messes.
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel  is the easiest way to make sure my manicure stays put!

My iPad may as well be attached to me, and this Vera Bradley case is my all time favorite.  It protects the screen and keeps everything clean, while also looking stylish.

I can't do a favorite things list without adding a pair of shoes, and this year my favorite purchases have been Crocs.  These ColorLite Flats are perfect to wear to school.  They are super comfortable and easy to clean, but they also look dressy enough to wear with dress pants.

Alex and Ani bracelets are perfect to wear to school because they are light weight, they can be casual or dressy, and they let me share whatever I'm feeling that day.  This apple bracelet is a great gift for any teacher.

There are some days that just have to be pony tail days.  Whether I woke up late or it rained during our field trip to the park, these Hair Ties  always make my pony tail feel just a little dressier.

Have you seen these Minimergency kits?! They are the greatest little gift. The kits come packed with all kinds of mini necessities, and this one is specifically for teachers, along with lip balm, hair elastics, and bobby pins, it also includes a red pen and gold star stickers.

Hopefully this list will help you out as you choose gifts for the great teachers on your shopping list or maybe for yourself, there's nothing wrong with that! If you still need more ideas, take a few minutes to check out last year's favorite things list!
